The day didn't start out too good as my package of supplements, and powder we delayed. I decided to get a start on it last night and had a shake before bed instead of a ED dinner.
The days leading up to today my fiance and I have been in California to find our new home that we will be moving into in about 27 days. It was too difficult to be traveling and committing to the ED diet. So today is my first full day.
We are getting married in 19 days, 20 days till our beach honeymoon in Hawaii and 28 days till we move to the West Coast. June is going to be BIG. BIG.
The fortunate thing about being on vacation for the last week is that I got an opportunity to read the book and spend time on the website gaining some confidence. I have been feeling a little nervous...maybe intimidated because I have never done an ED or a Detox.
Last year my fiance and I both lost a lot of weight because we took the time to learn how to eat well and live well. In the last 3 months, I have gained 10 of the 25 lbs I lost back. UGH. I blame my new birth control, but the truth is that I haven't been mindful enough. I worked so hard to get healthy, and I let it slip away so quickly. Its been really hard on my self-esteem lately (especially with the wedding approaching QUICKLY.)
So here I am, day one. For breakfast I had a 1/4 of an ED approved smoothie. Lunch I had grilled chicken, peppers, onions, black beans, lettuce and guacamole ie: a burrito bowl from chipoltle designed to fit the ED diet. At 3pm on the dot, my clean supplements and powders arrived. So as I write this, I am struggling to get my first official powder enhanced shake down. I wasn't expecting the taste or consistency to change so much when adding the powder. I am not super jacked about this. I have a pretty sensitive tummy and have a tough time with some consistencies...this included. In this moment, I can't imagine finishing it.
I've had some confusion regarding the videos and the pamphlet. In the video he says Shake, ED Lunch, Shake. I was under the impression that it was Shake, ED Lunch, Shake, ED Dinner.
Is one better than the other? Does anyone have any suggestions? I assume Shake, ED lunch, Shake is more aggressive. Can I meld the two?
Also, I would take any suggestions about the shake issue. For that matter, I would take any suggestions at all. I am anticipating that the next two days will be a little more difficult...especially because of the sugar withdrawl.
